My wife purchased some side dishes for Thanksgiving Day. When we brought them home and opened them, one of the dishes looked just like the picture.

Unfortunately, it's not the Coco's I remember from my time with the company 40 years ago. The food was still delicious and the service was excellent, but the menu has been significantly reduced compared to what I recall. Nonetheless, my dad enjoyed his cheeseburger, even though the French fries were a bit soggy. We also appreciated the free pie on Wednesday!

The restaurant offers typical diner fare that is a cut above Denny’s. I visited on a Sunday for breakfast and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. My utensils were dirty, but the waitress promptly provided a replacement when I pointed it out. It's a good spot for families. The food was decent—nothing particularly exceptional or memorable. In fact, I can’t even recall what I ordered, but my wife enjoyed the country fried steak, and the kids were happy with their eggs and toast. The location is right next to a freeway on-ramp, so be careful; if you miss the driveway, you’ll end up on the freeway.

I visited Coco's Bakery for the first time and unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The service was slow, and it took a long time for us to place our order. I found the Asian chicken salad to be overly spicy, prompting us to exchange it. As for the house potatoes, they were simply small pieces of potato with no added peppers or onions. Overall, both the food and service were disappointing, so I won't be returning. I didn’t even get a chance to try their pies.
