Little Coggeshall is fortunate to have a fantastic Chinese takeaway that many larger places do not have. This small, efficient restaurant near the clock tower only offers takeout and does not deliver. However, you can easily order online or by phone and pick up your order. I had been told by my friend who lived in the village that this, his local Chinese, was a good one. Even that did not prepare me, however, for just how good the food was when we sat down in his living room to eat it. Good food at a reasonable price with quick friendly service.
Always great food. My only gripe is that they don’t deliver.
Excellent ordering service over the phone, delicious food and well prepared. During covid lockdown, they were excellent providing lovely meals for the locals. lovely selection to choose from. Ahh yes the portions are smaller than pre-covid but still good quality. What hasn’t gotten smaller in quantity and higher in price??? Everything!!! I believe the price is good .
My son was sick after eating their sweet and sour pork balls last night, so their ingredients can't be fresh.
Worth the 5 mile drive to collect. Hot and tasty and decent sized portions. None of the Earls Colne Chinese’s compare. Definitely will be ordering again.
