Description

This downtown Bozeman eatery pairs stunning, upscale design with expertly crafted drinks and many standout dishes (salmon, ribs, burger). Service is generally attentive and the room suits large groups and families, with wheelchair access and window views. However, execution is inconsistent—some meals lack flavor or arrive poorly cooked or cold, and there are troubling reports of hairs in food. Brunch offers limited kid options, parking is tight, and music can be loud. Worth visiting for atmosphere and cocktails, but come with tempered expectations.

We had an awesome evening at brigade! we had a very large group, 20 people for a family dinner. most of the food was phenomenal but as expected for a large group there were a few small errors in steak temp, etc. our server, emma, was quick to correct these mistakes, and super kind about it! and once corrected it was phenomenal. very attentive service, incredible food and drinks, and such a nice atmosphere. i definitely recommend!

The restaurant has a stunning design and a classy atmosphere, complemented by friendly staff. However, considering the price of the food—although this might have just been an off night—most dishes were lacking in flavor. On the positive side, the drinks were expertly crafted. As for kid-friendliness, the staff was very accommodating and helpful with the children.

The kid-friendly options were quite limited; besides a waffle, there wasn't much for children. The home fries were decent but mostly burnt, the bacon was undercooked, and while the scrambled eggs were fluffy, they lacked flavor and were served cold. The beignets were good, though they were larger than expected—more like small doughnuts than bite-sized pieces. The brunch menu featured complex flavors and textures that might not appeal to everyone, particularly families with kids. It feels like a more upscale place that's not very accommodating for children. While the lunch and dinner menus looked appealing, we spent $60 on food that we didn’t really enjoy. It was a learning experience regarding kid-friendly dining options. Overall, this restaurant may not be the best choice for families.

On a side note, it's very kid-friendly, which is refreshing for a higher-priced establishment. We had three children with us, including a 3-year-old who ran around a bit, but everyone was so nice and even provided us with crayons to keep the kids occupied. They were very accommodating and never made us feel uncomfortable about our little ones. The restaurant also has wheelchair access with an elevator to the front door. The only downside was the parking, which was quite limited. Overall, I will definitely return when I'm in Montana!
