Amazing food, good service, fun atmosphere. The place is dimly lit but intimate. We were celebrating a host of good news s we went all-in. Cheese board appetizer was filled with all sorts of good cheese. I got the pork chop with grilled carrots and sweet potato polenta and it was world-class. My wife got the elk chop which was also very good. We had desert and coffee as well as a couple of drinks. It was not cheap, but we knew that. However, if you're looking for fantastic food in a fun atmosphere, Plonk is a must-try.
PLONK! graciously hosted us for the first anniversary celebration of GoodWorks Orphan Care and went above and beyond to assist us and our donors.
We went for an anniversary dinner. We split the crudité, which was so good we wanted more. My husband had the elk chops, and I had the pork chop. Both were delicious. The pork chop was massive and cooked perfectly. The elk chops seemed small, but we'd never had them, so they were probably a normal size, but he did wish that there were 4 instead of 3. The portions are well sized in my opinion because we had an appetizer, our entrées, and we had just enough room for dessert after. For dessert, we had the dark chocolate cheesecake. The sorbet that came with it was better than the cheesecake, just because the cheesecake needed to be a touch sweeter or have a different crust, the crust was pretty dense and bitter. There were no leftovers to take home though because it was all so good we wanted to throw out manners and lick the plates clean hahaha!
