While I understand they may be short-staffed, I believe it is important to at least smile and acknowledge customers when they come in and to wait on them in the order they arrive. When I went to sit down, I noticed there were flies all over the table, so I had to move to a different one. Despite this, no one had still greeted us or said a word. We had to get up and grab our own menus. Instead of attending to us, the staff began serving customers who arrived after us. I suggest that they prioritize taking orders before clearing tables, and simply saying hello and informing customers that they will be attended to shortly. Being short-staffed does not excuse being discourteous to customers. I think I will stick to dining at Mel's in Boyd, as they have never failed to provide good service.

The atmosp... read more So far, my favorite side has to be the handmade onion rings—they're simply amazing! There's something special about dining in a little country diner. The atmosphere is friendly, the service is quick, and the staff is attentive. You can really sense the family-oriented vibe. Places like this are invaluable and always worth a visit!

The de... read more We had a fantastic experience at this local cafe, which has a genuine neighborhood vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The decor was playful and captivating, keeping my kids entertained. Since we arrived towards the end of lunch, some menu items were unavailable, but we completely understood. My husband and I enjoyed the roast, which was delicious, along with the salad bar. The fried onions were a highlight as well! The kids ordered hamburgers and chicken strips, and there was so much food that we ended up taking leftovers home for dinner. I’m looking forward to our next visit!

While it wasn’t bad, the quality seemed to lean more towards commercial frozen food. The cheese sticks fell apart easily, and the pickles were incredibly salty. I had initially wanted to order the chicken fried steak, but they were out of it, so I decided to go for the cheeseburger instead. I was pleasantly surprised—the patty was large and packed with flavor. Unfortunately, they had run out of lettuce and tomatoes, so the burger ended up being quite plain. I plan to return and give it another shot, as I’m still interested in trying that chicken fried steak!

It reminded me of a cafe my grandparents owned back in the day in our little town. Very welcoming, fantastic staff, great food and friendly folks who work there. We spoke with the owner for a good while and loved her! Good people working and eating at K u0026M. Going for breakfast soon!
