Feedback
Reviews praise Tiien Thai’s fresh, well-presented Thai flavours and helpful staff, but note occasional slow service, extra charges for rice and mixed portion/value impressions.
We had the most delicious meal for my sister’s hen do at the weekend. The restaurant put us on a huge table where we could see everyone it was private but also in the middle of such a lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing we had the tasting menu between 12 and they catered brilliantly for vegetarians. The service was lovely, it was just a great meal. Thank you again, we can’t wait to come back. We celebrated our anniversary with friends at the restaurant. They were so accommodating and the food never disappoints and a service with a smile. We would highly recommend Tiien for an incredible dining experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £40–50
We received a friendly welcome and the food was tasty, but the service was a bit haphazard. We had various waiters come to our table, and some were better than others. Drinks and food didn't all come together but nothing was said to us, though the manager did chase the final dish to arrive, some time after everyone else's. The food is expensive and there wasn't a lot of meat in the curries, instead padded out with raw peppers, and the rice portions were not large enough to match the curry one of the cheapest ingredients). The venue is large and tastefully decorated, but I think it could have more Thai influence in its decorations. There is outside seating and it's located a few minutes walk from the cliff top. Overall, a pleasant experience.
