Went with 3 other friends who had been before and we were not disappointed ! the food was plentiful and not badly priced . the only comment was the mains appeared almost as soon as we had received the starters ...but it wasn't a problem ..the young girl who served us was charming and so too the young waiter.it was a Saturday evening and we had booked which was wise ...will definitely come again..it has the charm of days gone by which is sadly missing nowadays with too many bland bright lit soul less places and reminded me so much of Eastern Europe ...lovely

Went for the first time this evening. I had the vegan cabbage rolls and my friend had the chicken garlic cutlet. Both of us really enjoyed our mains. Then I had the chocolate sponge and my friend had the apple pie. The desserts were also excellent. This is definitely a restaurant we will go back to and it is good to know that are several more things on the menu that we want to try

My partner and I went to the restaurant without knowing what to expect. He's Polish, I'm not, but we've both had Polish home cooking and we know what he knows well.

Although I have not really been in the main restaurant, I have eaten your food at the Downes bar, just over three times, now, on the way back from work. The food is excellent, quality home style, large portions and everything at an extremely reasonable price; for me it was always below 10 for a main meal. I've never tried Polish food before and this place now hooks me up, I'm even testing my own versions of your home meals now! It has also proved to be a success among my coworkers and is becoming a regular stop every week. The Downes Bar is also worth a visit. Recently, it has a very friendly staff that makes you feel welcome in seconds, with a pleasant and not very busy atmosphere. Combined with Full Plate food, you can't be wrong.
