**Coastal Delights: A Review of a Seafront Gem** Nestled by the pier, this charming eatery offers a delightful atmosphere with stunning sea views and dog-friendly seating. While patrons rave about the delicious coffee and impressive cake selection, some have noted inconsistencies in breakfast quality and a few service hiccups. The ambiance is inviting, though warmth from the sun can make window seats a bit uncomfortable. Quick service and attentive staff enhance the experience, despite occasional crowding. Outdoor seating is a highlight for sunny days, making it an excellent spot for families and casual gatherings. Overall, a pleasant visit awaits at this coastal haven.

If you plan to wait for table service, be prepared for a 20-minute wait; it’s best to go up and order yourself. The outdoor seating is lovely when it’s sunny, although it tends to be occupied. What Ian S dislikes about Prom Cafe:
Rainy day people are getting out the rain Good place for coffee and cake(a lot of selection) I had breakfast and didn't feel it was great quality price was quite expensive too considering quality and what you got burnt bacon and could tell was heated as you could taste it. Felt like the container the beans were in were from a hospital where you have your tablets Was busy at times but Staff were trying to find things... View all feedback.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly, the coffee was delicious, and the cake was simply beautiful. The location is fantastic, right by the sea. However, I did notice that sitting by the windows can get quite warm on a sunny day (even in early February). While it's nice to feel like you're in some far-off exotic place, it's something to keep in mind. The seating can feel a bit cramped, but the service remains quick and attentive, regardless of how busy it gets. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The view of the sea and pier is absolutely stunning, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The breakfast was both delicious and fresh, offering excellent value for money. It’s no surprise that this place is always busy, even when other restaurants nearby are empty. I appreciated their flexibility with drink options on the menu as well. Initially, I couldn't find a table when I arrived, but thankfully one opened up just 10 minutes later. I’m so glad I waited and I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Bournemouth!

We had a baby emergency.. our son kept crying and we were on our way back to the car, he desperately wanted his milk, unfortunately the one we had spilled.. we saw Prom Cafe but they were closing, I asked a lovely lady named Sue if we can buy some milk it's our baby it's urgent, she said to us head on in and they can sort you some out, I did just that, no staff looked at me weird for being in there after they had closed, the lady on the till I didn't catch her name but she was so polite and kind, she helped me very fast. Really appreciate you all, you saved our baby's day! Well our baby's 30 minute wait for milk.. which would of been hell for him so thank you Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Prom Café – Bournemouth Pier Great little spot for a coffee with a view! Loved that they offer a discount for reusing your cup – more places should do the same Coffee was spot on, and the pastries hit the spot too And the view? Absolute goals – looking right out over the beach and pier. Perfect place to pause, recharge, and take it all in. Will definitely be back. #PromCafe #BournemouthPier #CoffeeWithAView #SustainableSips #BeachBreak #RipleyRecommends Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
