Description

Boscombe Pier is a local institution with amazing views and a relaxed evening vibe. Located by a beautiful beach, it offers BBQs and cycling opportunities. The pier itself features a mini golf course with eco-friendly balls and unique musical instruments. The Harvester restaurant at the entrance is fantastic. Despite some issues like limited parking, it remains a hidden gem. With stunning sunset views and beach access, Boscombe Pier is a lovely spot for a day out. The overall experience may vary, but the charm and beauty of the location shine through.

We visited this restaurant once during the summer and found it to be dull and dreary. Despite enjoying the walk, the atmosphere was not welcoming. However, we were able to witness the inspiring sight of people dressed as Santa Claus bravely taking a Christmas day swim in the sea for charity. We braved the rain for a while to observe the spectacle before deciding to head back to our hotel. Overall, there wasn't much more to add about our experience.

Boscombe pier and beach is one of my favorite places to relax. the fact that they can park directly on the promenade so close to the beach is a huge bonus, as they can easily sit in the car and watch the waves when it is somewhat cool or wet. it is quieter in the winter months, but it is still a nice place to be, and in the summer it is quite busy, but the evening vibe is so relaxed. there is an American style diner here, and a harvester also the other side of the pier, plus toilets, pretty much everything they need. they can go from here easily to bournemouth, it is about a mile between each pier and is completely flat. this beach has beautiful golden sand and in summer is not as busy as the main bournemouth beach that is beautiful. there is also another parking space only on the hill 2 minutes away, so access to the beach is easier for those with children or hindering, as they can park much closer to the beach than in bournemouth. this is a hidden gem that does not everyone know, so if they think to visit bournemouth, try boscombe beach, they will not be disappointed.

Really lovely pier to take a walk and enjoy the sea. We were lucky it was so sunny. Looking back you have a nice view of the beach. It’s got little games and musical instruments to play as you walk along.

The restaurant is located by a beautiful beach with a pier made of a wooden boardwalk. There are several cafes and restrooms available. BBQs are allowed after 6pm. It's a great spot for cycling. However, parking is only available down the beach and there is limited time for entry and exit, which is why I deducted a star from my rating.

Great few days spent relaxing with my 2 youngest children. I took a lovely early morning stroll along the beach. Clean Well maintained beach/pier. Magic
