Description
Guests reported mixed experiences at the hotel's restaurant. While some enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a variety of options and friendly staff, others faced slow service, cold and overcooked food, and felt neglected compared to larger groups. The spa facilities were small for the number of guests, leading to overcrowding. Some guests also faced rude staff and incomplete treatments. Despite positive aspects like a festive atmosphere and cleanliness, the consensus was that the subpar service did not justify the high prices. Recommendations to avoid the restaurant and spa facilities were given. On the other hand, the hotel itself was praised for its cleanliness, comfort, helpful staff, and good breakfast selection.

Situated within the hotel, great staff very friendly, food arrived when expected, reasonably priced food and drink and pleasant atmosphere. If you’re a lover of Christmas they have their decorations up already which the children loved. For a family of 5 with soft drinks around £80 so priced accordingly. I would say couldn’t fault but didn’t get offered any sauces/condiments but then again didn’t ask. Many Thanks
Since this restaurant was conveniently located inside our hotel, we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, we noticed three large groups seated at tables of 10+ enjoying a buffet roast. We were asked to return in 30 minutes, which was no problem at all. However, when we returned, we were ignored by two staff members for a good 5 minutes before being seated. Our orders were taken, and we were brought drinks and a complimentary bread roll. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse after that. We waited 45 minutes for our starters, which arrived cold and overcooked. It was evident that the large groups were given priority over regular paying guests. While we waited for our starters, the large groups had already received their mains, desserts, and hot drinks, leaving us feeling neglected. One couple at another table waited so long for their dinner that they left without receiving their meal, causing further delays as the staff discussed the situation in front of us. Our mains also arrived lukewarm, but the taste was decent. We had to wait a long time for our plates to be cleared and were not even offered the dessert menu. When we went to settle the bill, we were informed that the tab was closed for the night due to the lateness of the hour (we were seated at 7:30pm and left around 10:30pm). The food was overpriced for the subpar service we received. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Visited for some child free time! Got a voucher for spa deal. Facilities were very small for the amount of people who were booked in. Nice but small splash pool, steam room with about 5-6 spaces, quite small sauna which would probably fit 2 lying or 4 sitting, very limited space in changing rooms considering guests to the hotel are using it too. There were 10 of us in the spa and a few more arrived as I left. Clean and tidy on arrival. I recommend that you park on the road if you can find a space rather than paying for parking in the hotel. I had a cream tea which was pleasant but service was slow. I had a facial which was lovely but slightly short on time (20 mins instead of 30) Not really facilities for a spa day as too small.
Located within the hotel, the food in here is excellent. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Decor needs some work.
