My first experience of a Japanese restaurant and I loved it! The food was amazing, well priced and great value for money. The Unagi or eel was extremely tasty, as was my Maki Sushi, we also had some Teriyaki dishes which were equally as tasty. Best of all for me, is that everything was gluten free and the staff were so friendly and accommodating regarding this, I feel safe to eat here and I can’t wait for my next visit.

More information

Despite its modest interior, a handful of dishes inspire near-fanatical praise from regulars: smoky eel preparations, sesame-glazed chicken wings and takoyaki are frequently singled out. Also, many locals time visits around menu windows — a few signature plates (notably ramen) are only reliably available at certain service times, so early planning can score the best eats.
