We decided to try this restaurant, which is a lovely building and we were sat upstairs as only a few diners on a Monday evening, which was fine. The starters were amazing- we had tempura prawns and the scallops. We chose fillet steak and a whole lobster as our main meal. Sadly, the fillet was very chewy indeed. My lobster didn't appear to have been cooked with any butter or sauce at all and was subsequently really dry and tough. A real shame, wouldn't visit again.

Made the whole experience welcoming. The starter went down really well. My main course, sea bass was lovely. All the family enjoyed their meals. We rounded the meal with tea and desert.

Just cooke... read more We had a set Christmas menu meal and my meal disappointing. Starter was ok, but my Risotto was overcooked and plain. No taste of lemon, nor rosemary. Just cooked rice with vegetables, not a risotto. Atmosphere is nice over there and staff were great.

The staff were polite and efficient but it felt like they were going through the motions, and the atmosphere was a bit joyless.
