Conce... read more I had booked an event at Lollipops Café for my toddler on Monday, July 18. However, on July 14, the government issued a red alert for an extreme heatwave. Concerned about traveling from Southampton to Bournemouth with my little one, I decided to cancel. While South Western Railway kindly refunded my train tickets, the café owners refused to refund my payment of £18.50, stating it was non-refundable. They expected me to make the journey regardless. This experience felt incredibly selfish on their part.
