first class authentic Indian cuisine. fantastic, friendly staff. I can't recommend the naga huh enough, especially if they are a lover of a good vindaloo. all 3 ordered dishes were full of taste, well cooked, and not with this terrible fat and oil that some put them. the best cheese naan in the opposite. look forward to coming back soon, thanks for a great night! What 159TheresaP doesn't like about Joy Express:
I have never experienced such slow and indifferent service at a restaurant before. My party and I waited for an hour and a half for our meals, just like all the other customers in the restaurant. It was clear that the staff was prioritizing takeout orders and deliveries over the dine-in customers. View all feedback.
Went here with friends, one was late arriving restaurant was patient with us until they arrived. Restaurant was very busy looks like they give vouchers out for Thursday's. Food was excellent , we had a naga curry it was very hot and tasty. All of us enjoyed what we had. Booked on tablepouncer so Bill was excellent.
Despite booking, we were sat on a table in the hallway to the toilet. They did re-seat us when asked. They seem to prioritize the takeaway trade over the diners. Service was a bit slow. Food was really nice though.
Only my companion and I in the restaurant tonight. Joy is a new place to eat Indian cuisine and the menu has some exclusive dishes and standard classics. Since we were the only ones there, we received quite good attention, although they also left us alone to enjoy our meal uninterrupted. The food was definitely of excellent quality. Even the poppadoms and dips were above average. We enjoyed the signature spinach chicken and ginger, as well as basmati rice and bringi bargi. Good background music. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. A complimentary liquor as well. Very happy to recommend this new place in Southborn. Check out the Wednesday banquet deal for £12.95 per head for a 3-course meal. Give it a try.

My partner and I were the only ones in the restaurant tonight. Joy is a new Indian cuisine eatery with a menu featuring some signature dishes along with the classic favorites. Despite being the only diners, we received good attention and were able to enjoy our meal without interruption. The food was of excellent quality, including the poppadoms and dips. We particularly enjoyed the chicken and ginger with spinach dish, as well as the basmati rice and brinjal bargi. The restaurant had nice background music, clean facilities, and even offered a complimentary drink. I highly recommend this new spot in Southborn. Be sure to check out their Wednesday Banquet for £12.95 per person for a 3-course meal. Don't miss out!
