Jb's Fish Chips - Bournemouth

The batter on the fish was dark brown, overcooked, and dry. I have never had fish and chips so bad anywhere else. It was so terrible that we even left it out for the foxes to try and eat.

This was the worst battered sausage, chips, and curry sauce I have ever had. The chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil, the battered sausage was full of oil and the batter was falling off, and the curry sauce wasn't even warm. Take it from me, avoid this place. It must be the worst chip shop in the area.

The food at this restaurant was extremely unpleasant. If you are in the area and looking for fish and chips, I would advise against coming here. The food was overcooked, the chips were dry and brown, and the fish was the worst I have ever tasted. The curry sauce smelled and tasted as though it had been left sitting out for days. Additionally, the manager was rude and seemed to not care about the quality of the food. I suggest going to Wonderfrys, another fish and chip shop just a 5-minute walk away. After throwing away the food from this restaurant, I went to Wonderfrys and had a much better experience with delicious food and no issues.

I recently had the best vegan "fish" (made from banana blossom) and also the best chips at this restaurant. As a vegan, it can be difficult to find good alternatives, so I was thrilled to discover this place while on vacation. Everything was cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious. The banana blossom had a fantastic texture and the batter was not too greasy. The desserts were heavenly and the staff went above and beyond when we forgot to pick them up, calling us back to retrieve them. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in town. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I would love to take a picture of my burger, but it was just too delicious to resist. I ended up sitting in my car and devouring every last bite. This burger was not only beautifully presented, but also incredibly flavorful - the best I've had in over a decade. When choosing my sauce, the employee behind the counter handed me a sample and recommended I give it a try. I'm so glad I did, as it made the burger even more delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more options on the menu. The staff did a great job and provided attentive customer service. The burger box was also a nice touch.
