Unfortunately, I have encountered re-... read more We don't indulge in fish and chips often these days, but when we do, I expect to receive FRESH chips for the price we pay. Unfortunately, I have encountered re-fried chips from the last session on two occasions now. It's too far to return them, so I end up discarding the chips and just eating the fish with some bread and butter. I won't be returning to Herbies Fish Chips again. Having spent my entire working life in the catering business, I know the difference between fresh and old chips. This experience has been very disappointing, especially since I didn’t even receive a cursory reply to my email. Thus, I am lowering my rating to one star, as I find it quite arrogant not to address customer complaints regarding the menu.

We placed a large order for fish and chips, specifically requesting no salt or vinegar, but everything was covered in it. They appeared to be in a hurry, even though the restaurant was empty.
