Conveniently located near the station, the staff are incredibly friendly and always brighten up my early mornings. The prices are very reasonable and the food is decent as well. I only discovered this gem a couple of months ago, but now I can't stop telling everyone about it! Make sure to visit FR8 soon.

A refurbished freight container sits in the centre of a busy roundabout a stone's throw from Bournemouth station. A table-tennis table stands ready for a match. Previously ugly lampposts are painted in bright colours. And chairs and tables sit invitingly for customers to while away the day or evening. In-between travel connections, after seeing the newest addition to my former hometown from the top deck of a bus, I wheeled my case to Fr8 and experienced some of the best streetfood I've ever had, with friendly service, a delicious home-made smoothie, the ability to pay by card and the sights and sounds of a table-tennis game in full swing. In my opinion Fr8 is everything good about a small business and everything other small businesses should aspire to. Creative, fresh, forward-thinking and an innovative transformation of something uninspired and tired into a vibrant soulful gathering and eating place . Excellent, tasty food and friendly, helpful staff. Go there and rekindle your faith in life, food and flavour. And then catch your train with a new found faith in human nature.
