Eastern Eye boasts a blend of loyal patrons and dissatisfied customers, reflecting a spectrum of opinions on its offerings. While some rave about the delicious, freshly prepared Indian cuisine and commend the home delivery service, others express frustration over missing items and perceived quality issues, including underwhelming chicken portions in classic dishes. Incidents of poor customer service, including rude interactions with the owner, have tarnished its reputation for some. In contrast, long-time customers appreciate the family-run atmosphere and consistency in quality. Ultimately, Eastern Eye presents a varied dining experience — charming for some, disappointing for others.

Overall I would rate this as a very good Indian restaurant, the Korma I had was nice, as was the onion rice. The bhajis however were a bit of a let down and service standards could be a little friendlier. What is nice however is the open kitchen you can see that it is clean and the food is made fresh. I would certainly visit there again. View all feedback.

Food arrived 20 minutes late but that’s not a problem for us really... However, I had the madras which is my go to Indian dish. I’ve had loads of them! This one was blow your head off hot. I’ve had less spicey vindaloo’s. It was like the lid fell off the spice pot and the whole pot fell in. I like hot food but my god!! The OH has the masala which again was spicer than normal but acceptable. The chicken wasn’t the bes... View all feedback.
Fantastic food. Family run. I've used this place as a restaurant and takeaway for the past 15 years and NEVER had a bad meal! Very friendly staff. The owner is a fantastic guy who still works in the kitchen at times. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only drawback is that it's only a takeaway now but still remains the best Indian takeaway in Bournemouth in my opinion.
The restaurant's freshly cooked food was absolutely delicious and the home delivery service was fantastic. It exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to others. I will definitely be ordering from them again.
The food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty. The vegetarian stuffed naan was the best I've ever tried - it was packed full of vegetables and looked amazing. I have been back a few times and have never been let down.

I have been eating curry in Bournemouth for over 20 years, and this is the best curry I have had in years. If you love curry and have not tried this place yet, you will not be disappointed. The dishes are tasty, full of flavor, and come in generous portions. I ordered the chicken madras, and it was perfectly spicy just the way it should be.
