Feedback
Dilli Haat in Westbourne presents a mixed dining experience. While many patrons praise the flavorful, authentic Indian cuisine, some lament the inconsistent service and unclean facilities. Positive remarks highlight an inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and accommodating menu options for various dietary preferences. However, concerns over lengthy waits for both drinks and food, and miscommunication regarding personal food intolerances have surfaced repeatedly. These issues detract from the otherwise enjoyable meals. As the restaurant strives to balance a busy schedule with customer satisfaction, eager diners are encouraged to reserve tables in advance to better their chances of a seamless experience.
We tried the 'special menu for two' last night and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and probably one of the best takeout meals we've ever had. It was all very tasty, generous portions, and great value. We can't wait to order it again.
This is the worst food I have ever had. The service was not good and it was a total waste of money. The quality and quantity of the food were very low. The food was tasteless, I would have been better off eating tissue paper.
Recent visit with friends on a Sunday lunchtime. Completely empty when we arrived, which is probably a bit understanding for a lunchtime service. Our waiter seemed very inexperienced, having to refer everything to a mystery colleague that we never actually saw. Noticed in the window an advert for a set lunch. At approximately £70 for all 4 of us we thought we’d give it a go. Bizarrely starters, mains, side dishes, rice nan breads all came together. So much food, we could just about fit it all on the table. Would hv definitely been preferable to have starters prior to main food. However, food was excellent extremely good value.
It was my first visit to Bournemouth and was a pleasant experience to have Indian food at authentic Indian Restaurant. Food was delicious and on top of that was the fantastic warm behavior of the owner , Mr Arun Sharma.
Had some great food here tonight. Being a punjabi vegetarian I'm always looking for desi food when I'm away from home. That's what i got today. Mutter paneer was a great dish, made desi style not commercialised. Chapatis just like home. Starters were great too. Made tarka dhaal to accommodate for my 2 young children 1 yr old and 4 yr old. Would definitely return when I'm in the area again Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
