Description

Aruba restaurant, located right on the seafront in Bournemouth, offers a mixed experience according to various reviewers. Some customers had a terrible experience, especially on special occasions, due to issues with seating arrangements and service. On the other hand, others found the location great for group hangouts, with decent food and a cool vibe. The cocktails and views were highlighted as fantastic, although there were mixed reviews on the food quality. Overall, Aruba seems to be a good spot for drinks and a chill atmosphere, especially with the beachfront view, but might be hit or miss for dining experiences.

Waiter lazy and unprofessional. To busy chatting to a barmaid and the chef! Had to get sauces myself because he was preoccupied. Burgers over done. Very disappointed. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £50–60

We were recommended to try this spot because of drinks and view. We were pretty excited. We tried. Our group of four had an amazing time in town earlier. The owner of a local place suggested Hot Rocks. The staff was so inattentive and disinterested that the bar staff literally rolled their eyes when we inquired about sitting in their bar at one of the ten open tables in the bar. They were very busy talking to one another. We walked over to the table and waited a bit but no one attended to us do we left never to be back. We went next door and spent a few hundred pounds at Harry Ramsden and had a great time. Don't bother with Aruba, it's not worth your time.

Been here 3 times now. First time was excellent. Love the decor, sublime location, nice and airy, decent menu. A bit overpriced cheapest meal is £8 most are £10 and upwards. Cocktails £6 8. Second and third time I came here made me decide I will only drink here from now on and only on special occasions. Service was non existent second time around we were seated and abandoned. I had to order at the bar, and pay at the bar in the end too. Third time was the last nail in the coffin. One of the poorest attempts at my favourite cocktail I have ever been subjected to I had to take it back to the bar for adjustment and waited about 10 minutes for the bartenders attention. Our glasses were empty throughout our meal no offer of replacements despite 3 waitresses clearly clocking them. We were asked to change one of our food orders after an age of waiting. Food came before the cutlery. No check up, and then again, I had to go and track down the waitress to pay. No justification in these prices. Food and decor good, service at the bar and at the tables shocking. AVOID ON A BUSY SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT ALL COST!
