Description

This Chinese restaurant showcases high-quality cuisine that garners praise, with dishes often likened to Michelin Star standards. Diners rave about the delicious menu items, from handmade herbal spring rolls to exquisite seafood options. However, service issues persist, including long waits between courses and table timing mishaps. While the ambiance is pleasant, some evenings can feel unusually quiet. Friendly staff add a personal touch, yet the high prices may deter repeat visits. Overall, while the food impresses, diners may want to ensure they have ample time to enjoy their meal without feeling rushed.

We only get to visit Bournemouth once or twice a year but this is our favourite restaurant to the extent that we genuinely chose our hotel so that it's within walking distance. It's pricey but absolutely worth it. I could happily work my way through the whole menu but the absolute highlight is the satay chicken main course. It's so simple, just a skin on chicken breast with an incredible sauce but my goodness, that sauce!! Heading back to Bournemouth next week and as usual, this will be the first place we visit.

The food is good but really overpriced. £6.50 for a small bowl of rice is unreasonable. Only two medium spring rolls for £8.50 was disappointing. The main was absolutely delicious but I would expect that for the price.

As others have said, it's pricey so definitely a restaurant for special occasions. We got the special feast set menu and I do think that it was good value for money and the quality was incredible. The staff are also lovely, and brought my husband a special birthday treat. Would definitely go again!!
