My staff and I came to the morning table for an early lunch on Friday. We were pleasantly surprised by the decoration and ambience inside! I love the rustic and modern atmosphere. What User doesn't like about The Morning Table:
So this place is a hit and a miss at the same time. The gravy and the fried chicken were great. The green chili and bacon refried beans were spot on. But.... The hash browns were just ok, the sausage overcooked, the overcooked poached eggs are cooked in a mold, the omelette was watery, and the fries way too oiley. Probably not going back. I ordered a moimosa and a breakfast sandwich. The Moimosa was cold and fizzy (yum) and the breakfast sandwich was perfect. They even asked how I like to cube my eggs (soft medium or hard) I didn't even know there were different ways to choke eggs. I'll be back for the chicken and waffles. This Brunch Square is a great addition to the fast growing Gunbarrel area.
The opening weekend seems to be good if our first visit is a hint. The staff is attentive and the owner was open to our feedback. We are happy to eat here again as they come in the next few weeks and months.
This morning on a whim, not sure what to expect. The waitress was fast, friendly and very accommodating for us. The restaurant was so sweet, and the farmhouse look of it is very funny and inspiring. The food was delicious and worth the price. It'll be back soon.
I had the flat iron French toast and it was best! Really great taste, something you don't see everywhere, such a great treat! The atmosphere is cozy, but modern. And the staff was very friendly, very attentive and kept my coffee cup full! I'm looking forward to returning.
Great atmosphere, great staff! Nice little place that just opened. Vince and Celine, the owners are always super polite, Chelsea runs the bar and she is an artist in her own right, have her whip you something up you won't be disappointed. Brandon is one of the servers, he always has a smile on his face and quick to get you your food. The food, by the way, is EXCELLENT!! The first time I ate here I thought the portions were on the small side. I got the all meat omelette, The Big Bad Wolf, but when I finished eating (my friend could not finish her meal) I was pleasantly full. In a nutshell, go here! The food is DELICIOUS, the staff is professional and kind. I have been here multiple times and have been satisfied with each visit. There is no reason not to check The Morning Table out!
