Ate here for the first time a week or so ago. Had wonderful food and great drinks. Food came out so quickly! The waiter and busser were awesome! I would highly recommend their chips and salsa, as they have a delightful variety of salsas! Theguacamole was also good. The tacos are smaller and come out in a platter, recommend trying two or three different ones. And ofcourse, don?t forget to have the sopapillas. They are... View all feedback.
What Macy Scully doesn't like about T/ACO:
I?ve actually never left a bad review at a Mexican restaurant before because it?s never really been that bad. However, I felt the need to because the ratings are WAY too high and I?m confused how they even got that many stars. The margarita was basicallyjust salt and not anything like a margarita don?t get it. The steak burritos tasted strange and just gross, also it was 3/4beans. The few bits of steak that were in t... One of the most fantastic spots for Tacos in Boulder. All we had here is fresh and tasty, and the service was always excellent. Our crew had guacamole and the Salsa trio (Fresko, Verde, and Ananas), pork belly shell, carnitas bowl, and tacos (Mushroom and Carnitas) plus pint size margaritas and a strawberry limonade. The bowls are simple enough to fill you, the tacos are almost too filled to eat as tacos.
Good prices, friendly and fast staff, even if very busy, no longer offers happy hour. Meat was tasteful and the Taco selection had some unique options that I had not seen before. Great affordable salsa appetizer: habanero, mild, and verde were all refreshing with good heat and a warm charred taste; note that the salsas were all mixed fairly smooth and were not clobular when that is what you are looking for. Grapefruit Margarita was amazing.
Some of the best tacos I had in the United States. Steak Tacos are spicy pigs belly are mild and fat and tasty, the buffalo chicken taco is a bit bland. Cotija taco was incredible, mushroom taco was also very good.
We wandered near Boulder CO on Tuesday and thought Taco Tuesday would be a fitting end of the evening. Although it is only Tuesday, the place was alive and busy like a weekend day. We found the menus quite easy to navigate, but had a hard time to tell how big the Taco plates would be. The one I ordered came with three of them. You include a pig bell and it was quite delicious. Her Burritos are quite gigantic and tasteful. Her rice dish with shrimp was also very well received. Strategy, I think you can order two items if you only order Tacos. But would not recommend ordering something else if you plan to order a burrito. The staff was friendly and outside door seating were pretty nice. We found parking nearby. I don't know because I moved from the east coast, but I found the price unbelievable for the value. It cost about $30 with drinks. This is a beautiful place to have a taste of the boulder nightlife. I would recommend stopping after a long afternoon.
House made masa for the tortillas? Nuff said. With awesome options for tacos like duck, buff chick, and classics like steak and barbacoa, this place made for an incredible dining experience. Not to mention the unbelievably fast service! If you're in the area, you're missing out by not giving this place a try.
