What Jewel S doesn't like about Nepal Cuisine:
The buffet is not really a buffet. You tell your server what items you want and they plate it up for you onto a large platter. If you want seconds, make sure you order them all at once. I asked for more of one item, and when I wanted more of something else 5 minutes later, the server said no.The saag was a little slimy. Lots of white rice. I have eaten many places in Boulder and I’ve enjoyed many meals. I will say that Nepali Cuisine is good with the quality of the food they serve but very bad when it comes to quantity. We ordered take out, paid $15/meal and there was barely any food. Not even enough for a child. Very disappointing.
I have always enjoyed the food here. Many a take-out during Covid, but how nice to dine in again. Everything I want in a restaurant: consistently delicious food. Reasonable prices. Clean, nicely decorated room. Attentative but not obtrusive service. They aren 't there to make small talk with you, but to give you what you want to eat. (Is this why a reviewer felt insulted?
