I stopped by for a quick lunch and had an amazing Hot Link Sandwich! The service was friendly, and the restaurant was nice and clean. Regarding wheelchair accessibility, there are ramps on both sides of the building, but the entrance to KT’s is on the west side, making it much easier to access from that side.
I found the meal to be a bit pricey at $30. The ribs had an unusual gassy flavor, but they were incredibly tender. Overall, the barbecue was good—not the best I’ve ever had, but better than I anticipated. The side dishes were solid, though fairly standard. I tried all three sauces; the spicy one didn’t impress me, but the other two were decent. Unfortunately, the cornbread was dry. The highlight of my visit was definitely the customer service—both staff members were very helpful and knowledgeable. I have a feeling that the catering might be better than the dine-in experience, so I plan to try it soon to find out. In summary, great service and the in-house barbecue exceeded my expectations for Boulder.
