Boulder Baked
Boulder Baked
Description
Boulder Baked is a haven for vegan cupcake enthusiasts, offering an impressive array of flavors featured in generous frosting rather than cake size. While the focus remains on cupcakes, the bakery's commitment to the vegan community is commendable, albeit with limited options. Beyond cupcakes, the space fosters a lively atmosphere, perfect for gathering with friends over delectable cookies and engaging games. The delightful location and friendly staff enhance the overall experience. Despite some variability in offerings and hours, Boulder Baked remains a charming destination for those seeking vegan delights and a cozy spot to unwind post-pandemic.

Three words: adorable, spicy cupcakes. These cupcakes were so delicious that we went back for more the next day. The chocolate cupcake was also fantastic. The restaurant is located in a stunning setting and the staff were very friendly.
Boulder Baked offers a selection of around 35 different types of vegan cupcakes each day. While the cake portion of the cupcakes may be on the smaller side compared to Tee Cakes (located a few blocks away and only offering vegan cupcakes on Wednesdays and Fridays), the abundance of delicious frosting more than makes up for it. The standout feature of these cupcakes is the heaping spiral of frosting, such as the chocolate, peanut butter, banana cupcake, where all three flavors are combined in a way that transforms the entire cupcake experience. If you pre-order 48 hours in advance, they can also make vegan cakes. It is unclear if they offer cookies or pies now, but it wouldn't hurt to inquire. They also accept orders for wedding cupcakes, although I personally did not choose to go with them two years ago. The name "Baked" can be interpreted in another sense, if you catch my drift. The management may have changed since then, so it's worth checking. Their hours seem to vary, but they are currently open from 4pm to midnight and offer delivery. This bakery is best suited for those looking for vegan cupcakes, as the options for other types of food are limited to vegetarian chili or occasional soup. Given their focus on vegan cupcakes exclusively, I would rate them 3 out of 5 cows, but I do wish they had more variety.
I visited this restaurant with a large group and we enjoyed delicious cookies. They also had fun games that added to the enjoyable experience. It was a great place to eat cookies and hang out with friends, especially after the pandemic restrictions have eased.
They have many vegan options, but they are quite eh. the cupcakes and cookies are dry and give vegan bake not a good name
