Considering the Boulder locat... read more The Good: Both the Deluxe and Nashville Hot chicken sandwiches are delicious, and the fries and tater tots are equally impressive. Considering the Boulder location and current inflation, I find the prices quite reasonable—between $13 to $15 for a sandwich, a side, and a drink seems fair to me. The atmosphere is also inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff members were friendly and helpful, enhancing the experience. The Not-so-Good: Unfortunately, the fries and tots arrived lukewarm, which is a recurring issue I've seen mentioned by others. While they still tasted fantastic, they definitely could be served hotter. Additionally, I found the chicken patty to be a bit lacking in thickness and juiciness. While the patties are certainly good, nearby competitors offer thicker cuts of meat that elevate their sandwiches. A little more thickness would go a long way here.

They are often not served hot, to the point where I’ve stopped ordering fries or tater tots altogether. I tried the fries again today, and unfortunately, they still weren’t fresh and hot. From what I could see in the back, it seems like they might just be sitting there, perhaps under a heat lamp, but that just isn’t cutting it for delicious fries. I plan to give the fries another shot in a month or two. If they can serve hot and fresh fries consistently, I will definitely upgrade my rating to 5 stars. In my heart, this is already a 5-star review, but fresh fries are a must! I frequent this place often, and the sandwich has definitely improved since they first opened. As a side note, their happy hour from Monday to Friday from 2 to 6 PM is an awesome deal! A sandwich and an IPA for $7, plus $2.50 IPAs—what a great time without breaking the bank. I’m excited to see Birdcall thrive! It’s a tasty chicken sandwich spot in Boulder.

The chicken tenders are excellent, and the fries are especially flavorful, though slightly salty. The Buffalo and Birdcall sauces are outstanding, especially when mixed together. The restroom is kept very clean as well.

When Summer, behind the counter, saw my wife and me struggling a bit with ordering from the kiosk, she immediately stepped in and took careof us. She was so friendly and helpful she even managed to make us stop feeling like idiots for not being able to work atouchscreen. I love this place!
