Astro Coffee Bar is a friendly downtown Boulder café celebrated for inventive specialty drinks (the Nova and Nutty Astronaut stand out) and attentive staff. Cold brew is smooth though slightly bitter; the chai uses a sweet pre‑made mix. Guests praise service but report frequent stockouts (nitro and flavors), limited staffing (often one barista) and no drip coffee, which can slow service. Kids' cups are awkwardly designed. A charming neighborhood spot with bold flavors, it could improve consistency and availability to match its enthusiasm.

I decided to try their Nova since it was the first time I had seen Irish cream on a café menu, and it definitely lived up to my expectations!
It wasn't too busy but that's alright with me because the service was great and the coffee amazing. The. Mocha I got was not too sweet and perfectly balanced.
I’ve had the best coffee drinks in town at this place. I got the Nova today which is an Irish creme breve and it was incredible! The man working there was super nice helpful and told me that I should write more positive reviews instead of just negative ones so here I am! ?
Tasty Coffee Creations. Highly recommend a water chaser to level out the energy buzz.
It's quite strange for a coffee bar not to offer drip coffee. Additionally, several items on the menu were unavailable during my visit. Management, if you plan to have an extensive menu, it's important to ensure those items are actually in stock. There are plenty of other options in Boulder that we'll be exploring next time.
