Probably one of the best places around in my opinion good portion size, friendly staff, excellent tasting food, and fast service. I been to a number of others around this one and this is the one that won me over the most when I moved back to the area. I only wish there was a stamp where frequent orders get you a freebie after ten or so visits but it is not a deal breaker to me View all feedback.
What Steve T doesn't like about Yummy Teriyaki:
I would not recommend going to this place, the quality of the food is not very good. I ordered chicken yakisoba and wonton soup. The meat in the soup was apart from the noodle, and the noodles with the chicken were stuck together and hard. There are very many teriyaki places around this area, definitely would check others out. In my opinion, this is probably one of the best restaurants in the area. The portion sizes are generous, the staff are friendly, the food tastes fantastic, and the service is quick. I’ve tried several other places nearby, but this one has truly won me over since I moved back to the area. The only thing I would love to see is a loyalty program where frequent customers could earn a free meal after ten visits, but that's a minor issue for me.
Kung Pao Chicken is bursting with flavor! The fresh broccoli, diced green bell peppers, carrots, celery, onions, zucchini, and peas are perfectly crisp and not at all soggy or undercooked. They add a delightful crunch to the dish. The peanuts provide a nice texture, while the chicken is tender and thoroughly cooked. The portion sizes are quite generous as well. The spice level is always just right; I ordered mine at a level 4, and it was excellent!
I've been enjoying meals at Yummy T. for several years now. The owners are the nicest couple, and their food is truly the best. I particularly love their egg rolls and egg flower soup! - Carlos
Their chicken and beef isn't bad, but their fried rice is one of the best I have ever eaten, I only know one other place that can compare, I order it so much that the manager even knows me for it. The staff are also quite nice.
I cannot comprehend the 1 star reviews on here. This is my favorite choice for teriyaki! There are at least 3 other places near my home, but I walk an extra block every week just to get lunch from here. I am always greeted by the same pleasant gentleman, who I believe is the owner. He knows me, and he remembers the dish I always order. If you like your food extra spicy, then just say so! I like my chicken to burn the tongue a little, but not to the point of pain, so I ask for '4 star spicy '. The picture below is of my lunch today. '4 Star ' General Tso 's Chicken and Chicken Katsu. Yes it was amazing. No, I didn 't eat it all in one sitting.
