Reviews - Ranch Drive-in
Reviews summary
Ranch Drive Inn in Bothell offers a nostalgic dining experience with classic burgers, crinkle-cut fries, onion rings, and real ice cream shakes that fans have loved for decades. The food is fresh and flavorful, maintaining consistency over 30+ years. Friendly staff enhance the visit, though some customers report issues with order accuracy and limited payment options. Training for young employees and communication among management appear lacking, impacting staff morale. While vegetarian choices are minimal, the restaurant preserves an old-school charm in a changing cityscape. Prospective diners should be cautious with seafood dishes and expect a traditional, casual atmosphere.

This place is just as I remember it from over 40 years ago when my grandma used to take me there as a young child. They serve fantastic old-school drive-in food, including delicious burgers, crinkle-cut fries, onion rings, and real ice cream shakes. It’s no surprise that they draw a crowd. I appreciate that the City of Bothell has preserved much of the old Main Street charm despite all the construction in the area. View all feedback.

Unfortunately, I've been sick since Thursday night and am still feeling unwell, particularly as a diabetic who has been vomiting. My stomach hasn’t hurt yet, but I plan to see a doctor tomorrow. I ordered the fish meal, but it was undercooked; I noticed the fish was slimy after taking one bite. The onion rings were cooked so hard that I couldn't eat them either. I would advise against dining here, especially if you're ordering fish. They need to improve their cooking practices or change their oil. This experience has unfortunately ruined my mini vacation, and now I need to seek medical attention when I return home.
Honestly, the burgers and shakes here are fantastic and very affordable, and the fries are great as well! The atmosphere is also a lot of fun.
As for vegetarian options, there aren’t many burgers available—just one that allows you to choose your toppings. However, as I mentioned earlier, it’s definitely better than the veggie burger at Red Robin. It’s not a fake meat patty or anything like that.

I always love this place. Double bacon ranch burger, excellent and topped with a blackberry shake, perfect.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and they ensure that both your food and your overall experience are top-notch. I highly recommend it! They serve the best French fries I've ever had.
Ranch Drive-In is the best. I have been eating there for years and it always tastes the same.
