What Mortimer Durgan dislikes about Preservation Kitchen:
Our blonde hair server wore a super round and wide neck top that she can't seem to keep it on her shoulders. Asides from exposing the bra straps front and back, she was busy trying to keep the top on without completely coming off. While doing so, she managed to spilled the sauce from our mussels appetizer on to the floor as well as my bag. I didn't know that it was spilled on to my purse until I got into my car. We w... No parking space, no one at the reception, slow service, absent waitress, my huh was raw, returned it was again raw. I didn't eat it! my bill was adjusted? they said: it didn't seem right. I quit, since it took so long, just left. nothing good about the experience.
Service was excellent and the food was delicious. there was a high-time reception, so the noise level was probably one, but louder than normal, otherwise everything was perfect for a night of data with the woman.
It has changed since we last (approximately 1 year ago) the ambiente was not the same, we were all blown into a room. it was very loud. eating was not as good as we remember
I was here twice for her brunch and was satisfied with eating while it wasn't a knocking my socks out of experience taste smart. they have a beautiful game-grain for small, which are well with natural toys such as sticks and pine pegs as well as pots and strains on bearings. my children had a great time and allowed the adult to enjoy our conversations. the service was somewhat slow and cold. we sat on the terrace during a not so busy time and expected that the service would be more attentive as we were a big party. Overall, I would be able to let my children explore the game area again, but would certainly order some different dishes and wish for more friendly and fast service.
I do want to go again to this place to give them a second chance. Our daughter her boyfriend loves this place and their food. We went for Sunday brunch. They were short staff we were told. Service was bad the meals were bad to so-so. Mixed up the orders. Eggs were suppose to be over easy, but came basically hard boiled. One person asked for bacon, but didn't get it. One asked for English muffin and got it at the end of her meal. It was just little things like that but when it keeps adding up you get a little fed up. Had to asked for 2nd refill on coffee. Nothing special .. and kind of disappointed with the place. We will go again for dinner, just hoping it was all wrong because someone didn't show up for work that day.

However, there are also positive reviews praising the fresh and tasty food, friendly service, and pleasant ambiance. It has changed since we’ve last been (approx 1 year ago). The ambiance wasn’t the same, we were all crammed into one room. It was very loud. The food wasn’t as good as we remembered
I've been here twice for their brunch and have been pleased with the food while it wasn't a knock my socks off experience taste wise. They do have a beautiful play grotto for little ones well stocked with natural toys such as sticks and pine cones as well as pots and strainers. My kids had a GREAT time and it allowed the adults to enjoy our conversations. The service was a bit slow and cold. We were sitting on the patio during a not so busy time and expected that the service would be more attentive since we were a large party. Overall, I would go back again for the option of letting my kids explore the play area but would certainly order some different dishes and wish for more friendly and prompt service.
