We’ve been to a good number of the Mexican restaurant... read more It been a while since we went to Patrona for dinner. Usually it’s a date night thing so The wife and I go. We’ve been to a good number of the Mexican restaurants around and we like Patrona the most. I really like their Carnitas De Puerco, you can taste the citrus of a traditional preparation, yet they are savory and juicy. I think they are the best carnitas in the area and worth the drive. Their chili verde is just delicious, tangy and juicy pork slow cooked. The tortillas are fresh made by hand and delicious.I’ve seen it busy in there, but we’re usually early for dinner (5-5:30). We have been there when the quickest seat was at the bar. But that’s not always a bad option.
