Reviews - Gyro Stop
Reviews summary
Nestled in a convenient Monroe, WA location, this casual Mediterranean spot serves fresh, generously portioned shawarma, gyros and vegetarian wraps with quick, friendly service—ideal for takeout or a no-fuss dinner. Patrons praise flavorful meats, consistent freshness and tempting desserts like baklava and halvah. Experiences vary: some note occasional inattentive staff, inconsistency with special requests, misleading menu photos and hours that don't always match listings. Still, many return for the value, speed and comforting flavors.

Occasionally good. BUT They have an employee or two who do not care. Really. No cares. In this case, you will get a crummy meal. It's a shame. Great location. Often good food. I occasionally drive there, see who's working... and drive away. One suchemployee is often just out front smoking who will enter behind you. If you see someone smoking in front, leave.
I had ordered humus pita wrap online. After opening the package, I could see only plain hummus and pita bread. The menu description and photo for that is pretty misleading. I tried calling them immediately but it closed at 8:50 pm instead of 10:00pm as published on Google. Disheartened, I ate what I got, and even that was disappointing. The hummus was tasteless and pitawas hard. Such a waste of 10 bucks.
Pretty decent food. Fresh and tasty and worth the price. We did a take-out of chicken swarma and falafel. Both were good. We'll come back again.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience! The gyro was incredibly fresh, and the baklava was sweet and flaky. Excellent job!
Our whole family is a big fan of the gyros. Don't miss out on the Greek fries—they're a must-try! The service is very friendly as well. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

I truly love this place! I've been coming here regularly for almost two years, and it’s one of my top spots for a quick wrap or a full dinner plate. The staff is welcoming and relaxed, the meat and sides taste fantastic, and the portions are generous. On top of that, the service is fast, making it a great and convenient option.
The shawarma and gyro sandwiches at Gyro Stop are absolutely delicious! You can also try them served over yellow rice with hummus, pita bread, and a fresh salad – it’s always a great choice. Their falafel is outstanding, and I strongly recommend the falafel supreme sandwich, which features fried cauliflower and eggplant.

My husband and I tried the new Gyro Stop in Monroe, WA. We both had the Chicken Shawarma plate. The manager added a Baklava and Halvah for us to try. Everything was perfection! So good, large portions, and great service. We are very glad that we don't have to travel far for our favorite food anymore. We will definitely go back very often.
The Bothell branch is where I always go, great staff, nice people, and the best quality food.
I wouldn't have expected it from the exterior and interior, but the Greek food here is fantastic. Their falafels are flawless, and the shawarma is impressive. The gyro meat is slightly too salty, but considering the price, it’s hard to find better. Definitely give it a try!
This restaurant offers fast food that genuinely tastes like it's made at home. The service is incredibly rapid, and the staff are friendly. The food is excellent, with generous portions! Everything is consistently fresh, and we visit frequently. Be sure to include this spot in your takeout options—it's definitely worth every penny!

Pretty decent food. Fresh and tasty and worth the price. We made an exit from chicken swarm and falafel. Both were good. We'll be back.
I absolutely love Shawarma! It's quickly becoming one of my favorite comfort foods, and this place does an excellent job of preparing it. The service here is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food is both fresh and tasty. The flavors are exceptional, and the restaurant itself is clean and inviting. I can definitely see myself coming here at least once a week while I'm working in the area.
The food is good and the service is fast. I have visited 3x. Every time we have gone they ask after if they can get us anything else and thank us for coming in. They have both vegan and non vegan options. The vegetarian options can be veganized as long as you get no dairy such as feta cheese and yourgert. Of the 3x I have attended, they made one mistake and gave us an upgrade on the fries giving us Greek fries. However I don't consume dairy. That was the 1st time I went and since then they have not made any new mistakes.
I had ordered Humus pita wrap online. After opening the package I could only see simple hummus and pita bread. The menu description and the photo for it is quite misleading. I tried to call them immediately, but it closed at 8:50 instead of 10:00, as published on Google. I ate what I got, and even that was disappointing. The hummus was tasteless and the pita was hard. That's $10.
Tried the chicken shawarma plate. The taste was okay. Place is not so big. Can seat around 10 20 people. My friend ordered Roasted chicken plate. He didn't like very much either. Felt the guy who took our order was little rude or may be i just felt it. He was giving rude expressions while taking the order. Overall the place is 3/5, food 2.8/5 . Service 2/5.
