Description

Big Fish Sushi in Bothell earns praise for fresh, beautifully plated sushi, accommodating service and dietary options, clean modern interior and wheelchair access. Fans highlight standout rolls, sake, and value; others note inconsistent dishes—especially teriyaki and ramen—smaller portions and occasional quality dips. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though one patron experienced misgendering. Convenient for last‑minute dinners but tucked in a corner near Mud Bay, with limited handicapped parking and visibility from the street.

Stopped here for dinner after driving all day. Good was excellent and service was quick. Highly recommend this location. I had the Sashimi Deluxe and it was amazing.

Giving two stars since it is chicken which is what I ordered. It does resemble the look of teriyaki. Taste wise awful. Spicy teriyaki supposedly is what it is. It's just plain chicken with Sriracha dumped all over it. Most teriyaki/sushi places at leastmake a glaze and put some effort into it. Pretty awful. I have had way way better for much less money.

Fantastic sushi restaurant! The interior is very clean and modern. The staff are polite and friendly. The sushi was served quickly and tasted incredible. I will definitely return. We spent around $70 and got everything we wanted, which I think is excellent value!

Delicious! All the sushi was incredibly fresh and tender. I was initially worried because everything had a bit of "spicy mayo," and I'm not a fan of spice. However, the spicy mayo was quite mild and very manageable. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I will definitely be dining here again!

We arrived a little after 9 PM, as everything else nearby was already closed, and their listed closing time is 9:30 PM according to Google. The staff welcomed us warmly and were more than happy to accommodate us. They answered all our questions without making us feel like we were a bother, even though we were the last customers of the evening. We ordered a variety of dishes: Kara-Age with spicy mayo, edamame, a Seattle roll, a spider roll, an avocado cucumber roll, a Philly roll with smoked salmon, and a shrimp tempura roll. A very hungry family of four left feeling satisfied and happy! We are truly grateful they were able to serve us and we appreciated the delicious food. The restaurant is located on the northeast side of the parking lot, in the last building on the corner, so it's a bit tricky to spot from the street. If you head into the parking lot, just follow the signs towards MOD Pizza and Mud Bay; it’s right next to Mud Bay, the last business in the area.
