Description

Nestled in a charming yet confusing campus, the restaurant at McMenamins offers a unique dining experience amid its historical allure. While the atmosphere is captivating, with impressive lighting and tropical vibes, the high prices may deter some guests. The menu boasts tasty offerings, though breakfast tends to disappoint. Service quality varies, with some staff appearing disengaged, though others provide exceptional hospitality. Amenities fall short, with low-end linens and limited room conveniences like mini fridges, which can be challenging for families. Overall, it’s an inviting spot for gatherings, but improvements in service and amenities could enhance the guest experience.

Very unique. I've never seen anything like that. it was a junior high here in bothell built in 1931. the rooms are old classrooms. again, very neat and unique!

Not sure why we needed a reservation. Place was pretty empty. Waited over 30 minutes and no hostess showed. Finally an employee from the restaurant said we could just seat ourselves. Food was a little burnt around the edges. And my reservation said this was a birthday. They were clueless and it spoiled the surprise.

90 minutes from order to food on table. Clearly understaffed in front and back and some popular basics on the menu were out of stock . Given McMenamin 's reputation and experience with restaurants, there 's really no reason. Staff clearly were aware of problems and apologetic afterwards, but warning up front would have been nice so we could decide if we wanted to stick it out.
