My friend and I went here for jubilee dinner and let me tell you that it was nothing but pleasant. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing, the waiter was great, and the best of all dishes was delicious. I would definitely recommend her salmon. It's the best I ever had. Definitely will eat here again.

Vibe was great, service, food and drink was excellent! Would go back!

The food was tasteless, was not properly prepared. I ordered eggs Benedikt. The English muffin didn't taste like one. I am insecure of the bread used. The sauce was bland. I couldn't eat it. No one at the table could eat their food. I feel terrible to write this criticism! I was in this hotel for five days, but the restaurant was terrible! Please rent new chefs!

They accepted a reservation for a day they were not open. We were guests of the hotel and the following few days all we heard were irate customers complaining about the wait for food and the quality of the food. I guess we dodged a bullet. But I had two kids and we were weary from travel, had to make a mad dash to an adjacent restaurant to get service before they closed. Also the entire floor smelled of gas, it was actually scary.

Restaurant did not open that night. We were not made aware of this until we arrived for our reservation. A call from the restaurant notifying us that they would not be opening that night would have been appreciated.

Rebel's Guild offers a blend of experiences for diners, ranging from delightful to disappointing. While some patrons rave about the delicious food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere, others lament cold dishes, unfulfilled menu items, and slow service. Highlights include flavorful salmon and well-prepared appetizers, enjoyed in a pleasant ambiance. However, issues like outdated menus, staffing challenges, and lackluster dishes have left some guests frustrated. Ultimately, while many recommend the restaurant for its strengths, potential visitors are advised to check menu availability and be prepared for variable service. An intriguing spot that may require patience.

I had a great time at this restaurant. A special shout out to John Lee, the expert and friendly bartender; Ester from housekeeping; and Alito at the front desk. I tried the best cocktail I've ever had, which had a rather unfortunate name—Tarzan Boy. To make my experience even more deserving of a five-star review, I would rename it after John Lee!

I wanted to share my experience regarding our recent stay at [Hotel Name] on July 28-29, 2023. The location of the hotel was ideal for our needs during our time there. However, I must admit that it would not be my first choice for accommodation due to a couple of reasons. Firstly, the hotel appears old and could benefit from some renovations. Additionally, the rooms felt quite small in size. One major inconvenience was the air conditioning system. It seemed ancient and produced a loud noise. Moreover, we had no control over the temperature. It was either super cold or off, leading to discomfort. I must mention that the reception staff could use improvements in their hospitality skills. However, considering it is Boston, people tend to have such attitudes. On the other hand, I would like to express my appreciation for the housekeeping team. They deserve a 5-star rating for their excellent job during our stay.

During a trip to the nearby mall, my glasses were stolen while I was out. I had accidentally left them on the bathroom counter. No one else could have gotten in the door. When I returned, house-keeping was there in front of the door. My glasses were gone and no one knew were they were. Due to losing my glasses, my left eye is now lazy and hasn't been able to be fixed. If there is a lawyer out there who can either help me sue or get a refund for this stay. Please let me know.

Located in the heart of downtown and just a short walk from Chinatown, this restaurant boasts an excellent location for city exploration. It's a quick stroll to Freedom Park and only a short drive to Harvard, Newbury Street, and other must-visit attractions!

2 for dinner. It was our first time there and had a very good experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. We were served quickly which was helpful as we were heading to the theater and had less than an hour. Interesting place, look forward to returning.Food: 5/5

The food lacked flavor and was poorly prepared. I ordered the eggs benedict, but the English muffin tasted off and I couldn't identify the type of bread used. The sauce was quite bland, making it inedible for me. Unfortunately, no one at my table enjoyed their meals either. I'm hesitant to write this review, but after staying at the hotel for five days, I found the restaurant experience very disappointing. It might be time to consider hiring new cooks!

My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Rebel's Guild, and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was delightful, the service was impeccable, and, best of all, the food was scrumptious. I highly recommend the salmon – it was the best I've ever tasted. We will certainly be coming back for another meal here.

I had an excellent experience at Rebel's Guild. The food was fantastic, the service was warm and welcoming, and the kids really enjoyed themselves as well.

The service was lacking, and it seemed like they were short-staffed. We placed our order and waited an entire hour for our food to arrive. The server didn't check on us at all, and when she finally came by, we mentioned that we had been waiting for an hour. She dismissively said it had only been 20 minutes and did not offer an apology. The food itself was decent, but it felt overpriced for what we received.

Disappointing experience at Rebel's Guild. Our meals were overlooked, and the drinks were served alongside the food, which was quite confusing. Overall, it felt unprofessional and poorly managed.

The service was alright, but the food was inedible. I got the biscuits and gravy, and the “gravy” looked, smelled, and tasted like cat food. I took one bite and couldn’t push further.

My friend and I were here for the weekend and decided to give this restaurant a try, despite its 3.9 (on some sites 2.5 rating. She first ordered a glass of wine which never materialized along with our server, so she asked the first server she saw toplease cancel the wine and change it for a coke. The server came back with the coke and apologized. She ordered the duck and Iordered the Korean short ribs. It took over an hour to get our food. We were so hungry we asked if there was bread we could havein the meantime. She said they didn’t have any bread. Well, yet another server came by and we asked about bread, and lo andbehold he made it happen. (We tipped him on the way out. Now about the food. My friend’s duck was good, except there were nomashed potatoes, as our server had indicated, but since it wasn’t in the description of the dish, she didn’t say anything. There was nothing Korean about my ribs. I know because I happened to have made them last week! I’m Cuban descent, and thedish I got was ‘carne con papas’ (meat and potatoes . Such a let down!! This restaurant has potential, it just needs bettermanagement and training.

Great food and great mixed drinks but be patient at the bar. Got two drinks in an hour and it wasn’t busy. Got there 20 minutes after they opened and was one of four people in the place for an hour. Definitely go elsewhere if you’re looking tohave a fun night out. Seemed to pick up but still terrible service at the bar.

Would rate zero stars if I could, the service was terrible, we sat at the bar, and ordered water and 2 mimosas. Bartender brought the water but it took a good 10 minutes to get the drinks, and they were not busy. We got our food, had to getsilverware from another table because we never got any. We wanted a few condiments, but never saw her again to ask for any. Ihad the breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and smoked salmon. The few bites I had were good, but then I found a piece of waxpaper in my sandwich.

Excellent concept with a Revolutionary War meets steampunk vibe. The menu is a bit minimal, but plays to strengths with an bacon egg and cheeseburger that's to die for, duck that my wife loved and a quick glance at the menu reveals a handful of seafoodoptions. The star of the show was the skillet baked cornbread with honey butter and blueberry spread on the app menu. The placewould be a 5 star for me, except our waiter, who was super attentive from seating through the entrées, ghosted us beforebringing the check. We have the benefit of the doubt that he might have stepped out on a break, but about 20 minutes of waiting,we had to ask another employee for our check. Our original waiter arrived shortly after and handed us a slip with no pen anddisappeared again. I brought the slip to the bartender to cash out, and then dipped. Everything was going great until the checkfiasco. When I'm back in Boston again, I'll definitely give them another chance, since the majority of the experience was topnotch, but for a first impression, I was a little let down.

The decor was the best part of Rebel's Guild but the drinks and food menu leave something to be desired and the atmosphere (or lack thereof) reflected that. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

Rebels Guild offers a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming ambiance that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I ordered the Chile wings, and they were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The real standout for me, though, was the cole slaw—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Crisp, fresh, and full of flavor. The only minor hiccup was that my diet coke was forgotten, but the food was so good, I didn’t even bother bringing it up. I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy spot with great food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
