The decor was the best part of Rebel's Guild but the drinks and food menu leave something to be desired and the atmosphere (or lack thereof) reflected that. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
Rebels Guild offers a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming ambiance that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I ordered the Chile wings, and they were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The real standout for me, though, was the cole slaw—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Crisp, fresh, and full of flavor. The only minor hiccup was that my diet coke was forgotten, but the food was so good, I didn’t even bother bringing it up. I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy spot with great food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
The service was alright, but the food was inedible. I got the biscuits and gravy, and the “gravy” looked, smelled, and tasted like cat food. I took one bite and couldn’t push further.
My friend and I were here for the weekend and decided to give this restaurant a try, despite its 3.9 (on some sites 2.5 rating. She first ordered a glass of wine which never materialized along with our server, so she asked the first server she saw toplease cancel the wine and change it for a coke. The server came back with the coke and apologized. She ordered the duck and Iordered the Korean short ribs. It took over an hour to get our food. We were so hungry we asked if there was bread we could havein the meantime. She said they didn’t have any bread. Well, yet another server came by and we asked about bread, and lo andbehold he made it happen. (We tipped him on the way out. Now about the food. My friend’s duck was good, except there were nomashed potatoes, as our server had indicated, but since it wasn’t in the description of the dish, she didn’t say anything. There was nothing Korean about my ribs. I know because I happened to have made them last week! I’m Cuban descent, and thedish I got was ‘carne con papas’ (meat and potatoes . Such a let down!! This restaurant has potential, it just needs bettermanagement and training.
Great food and great mixed drinks but be patient at the bar. Got two drinks in an hour and it wasn’t busy. Got there 20 minutes after they opened and was one of four people in the place for an hour. Definitely go elsewhere if you’re looking tohave a fun night out. Seemed to pick up but still terrible service at the bar.
