Rebel's Guild offers a blend of experiences for diners, ranging from delightful to disappointing. While some patrons rave about the delicious food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere, others lament cold dishes, unfulfilled menu items, and slow service. Highlights include flavorful salmon and well-prepared appetizers, enjoyed in a pleasant ambiance. However, issues like outdated menus, staffing challenges, and lackluster dishes have left some guests frustrated. Ultimately, while many recommend the restaurant for its strengths, potential visitors are advised to check menu availability and be prepared for variable service. An intriguing spot that may require patience.

Eating was okay, neither good nor bad. the service was not available in the round. menu incorrectly advertised a many number of coffee options (such as espresso, latte, etc. but they had only black coffee. bar lacked basic ingredients to make the drinks on their menu.

We came for brunch before going to a show. Our reservation was hr and minutes before showtime. We noted in the reservation we were seeing a show-they clearly didn’t read that note. minutes after being seated, we had to get up and find a staff member to order drinks. They didn’t know their own menu because they questioned if we were using the correct menu (came right from their QR code) and wasn’t like they offered us other menus to use when we were seated (and ignored). Basic food order took another minutes and while the food was tasty, we had to rush to finish with enough time to walk to the theatre. Every table around us was having similar service issues. They comped us a soda…a singular soda which the server brought to the table holding the top of the glass. 🤢 Don’t plan on returning.

Music was deafening. Service was poor only b/c only waitstaff for the floor on a Saturday night with a full restaurant! They should have limited the reservations if they didn’t have adequate staffing. My meal—scallops—was ridiculously expensive for the small amount of food I had. Have never left a restaurant hungry until last Saturday night. Menu was severely limited and no specials. With all of the fabulous restaurant options in Boston we will not return to this one.

The decor was the best part of Rebel's Guild but the drinks and food menu leave something to be desired and the atmosphere (or lack thereof) reflected that. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

Rebels Guild offers a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming ambiance that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I ordered the Chile wings, and they were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The real standout for me, though, was the cole slaw—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Crisp, fresh, and full of flavor. The only minor hiccup was that my diet coke was forgotten, but the food was so good, I didn’t even bother bringing it up. I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy spot with great food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
