If you're looking for home made and traditional food this is the place. Good prices and nice service. Be sure to ask for the rabbit (never ate it like this) and the miguinhos no barro. Half a portion is more than enough for one. British sure to finish your meal with a delicious arroz doce.

Came here with a group of friends one of which is a vegetarian. Asked if it was possible to have an omelet and the staff were incredibly rude and unacomodating, they told my friend she could have some plain lettuce salad. Have been eating in other restaurants in the area and Have not encountered this problem before.

It's a typical Alentejo tavern, no doubt about it! But it's so good! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent wine, simple but great starters. And the price, very good for the quality of the food and all the service, 19 euros a person!
