No charm whatsoever. They could easily make it look better, but they don't seem to bother. The food is local, but I guess ok. Service is poor.
This is pretty rustic. Not word of English spoken which is always a challenge I like. Wasn't 100% we knew was was coming by ordering duck and rice but it was what it said. Rice cooked in duck stock with slow cooked shredded duck in. Needed a bit of seasoning but otherwise very good. I had the grilled Dorado which was cooked perfectly and a good size. With a couple of beers, 1/2 bottle of wine and some slightly acquired tasting cheese €31 was excellent value.
Dubious decor but authentic and well prepared Alentejo cuisine. All the local must-eat dishes on the menu. Pleasant staff. Recommended.
Great homemade food at a reasonable price. They adapt to all intolerances and there are many options for vegetarians Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
