Joy Bistro - Boone

From the start, we were treated to extraordinary appetizers, including Joy's Wontons, Pâté à Choux Gnocchi, and Firecracker Shrimp. The garden salads—Bartlett Pear Salad and Peach and Prosciutto Salad—were a delightful addition, followed by an impressive selection for the main course: NC Trout, Joyce Farms Chicken, Local Drake Three-Cheese Ravioli, and GC's All Bistromen Burger. To top it all off, we enjoyed either a Wild Berry Prosecco Sorbet or a decadent Kahlua Espresso Torte for dessert, which made the evening a resounding success. The dining room has been beautifully redesigned, and the staff—Lacy and Ashley—were fantastic, ensuring we felt relaxed and able to fully enjoy our time there. Having traveled the world and dined at some of the best restaurants, I can confidently say that Joy Bistro is truly something special. If you're in Boone and looking for a hidden gem, you won't want to miss Joy Bistro. We extend our heartfelt thanks for making a significant and memorable night for our family so wonderful. Everyone is still raving about the food!

Our entrees arrived at the perfect moment, just as we ordered them. The filet mignon melted in my mouth, and even the boiled vegetables on the side were prepared beautifully. The Maine Diver Scallops were cooked to perfection—tender and with a lovely smoky flavor. We wrapped up our meal with a classic chocolate cake, which made for the perfect finish to our dinner. You made my birthday celebration truly exquisite!

The atmosphere is absolutely delightful and cozy, the staff are both professional and friendly, and the menu is amazing. This is my favorite place!
