I fled the fires from Bega in an exhausted state, and they were amazingly hospitable and asked me to rest here as long as I wanted. Nice, clean cafe with a relaxed atmosphere.

The look of the ca... read more Kudos to the lovely staff working in 40 degree heat in a cafe that has no air conditioning. I can only imagine how hot it was in the kitchen. The look of the cafe leaves alot to be desired, complete with creepy old ornaments for sale on dusty shelves and a wash basin in the ladies room that hasn't seen a cloth in millennia. If it weren't for the friendly service we probably would have walked out before ordering. The food was freshly prepared, I had a tasty hamburger with the lot, my partner and kids had some delicious chips and nuggets which we all enjoyed. I would eat here again, perhaps in the cooler months, or if they got an airconditioner, though it would cost a fortune to run as the shop is so large. As we were leaving my daughter dropped a chip she was still eating on the floor, much to her dismay I picked it up and threw it in the bin which made her cry. The beautiful lady working in the cafe swiftly followed us out the door with tongs holding two freshly cooked chips to hand to my little girl. It made her day and helped settle her for our four hour journey ahead. Great customer service!!! I would recommend this place to anyone that loves a good burger with fantastic friendly service.
