Borambola Wines

Celebrating my 70th birthday with friends and family at this beautiful venue was a highlight of my visit to Australia. Tim and Naomi could not have been more charming and hospitable, the wines were wonderful and the catering service was flawless. Definitely 5 star plus and highly recommended.

My wife and I recently hosted our birthday party at Borambola and have also attended other events at this venue. Tim & Naomi, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The venue offers breathtaking views of the countryside, and the function room and balcony provided a perfect setting for mingling with friends and family. The quality of the wine, food, house, and grounds at Borambola rivals that of more established wine regions in Australia that I have visited. It is a fantastic place to hold a wine tasting or special event, and the hosts truly make the experience exceptional.

We opted for the early seating for their Mother's Day special. We enjoyed a custom hamper filled with delicious cheeses and cured meats, along with a nice selection of bubbly and tasty lager. The restaurant has a beautiful view, homestead, and grounds, and is run by a very friendly and accommodating couple, Tim and Naomi.

I enjoyed the story behind the property and wines as much as the wines themselves. The host was very knowledgable. He makes a great cider and beer as well! No lunch .... Yet

Easily the best winery we have ever visited. Not only is the estate absolutely stunning but this is the first time both my husband and I enjoyed every one of the wines on offer. The owners pride themselves on providing unblended and locally grown fruit that it truly unlike anything you have tried before. They also include the history of the area in the labels on each wine and your tasting experience will educate you on some great Australian history as you go. We have been to vineyards all over the Hunter and Yarra valleys, in France and Italy, and these are absolutely the best wines we have ever had.
