Barrio Taqueria - Blue Summit

Solid place to grab lunch, I went on a Sunday afternoon, with the nice weather it was a great place to be. I got the jalapeño queso burger which was good but there was SO MUCH queso I couldn’t finish the meal. Like so much the burger was sticking to the paper it was sitting on

Delicious tacos!!! They have a large selection to choose from but Tuesday is obviously for tacos. Every one of them was packed with flavor and left me wanting more. The atmosphere was neat and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

Miss Megan was our server. She knew every item on the menu and could speak of them in detail. She was helpful without being overly present. Her suggestions were great and she checked on us quite often. I had the loaded queso and sangria. Both were excellent choices.

When in last night because I always come here. Had no help and had to keep leaving from my table to order food at the bar. Asked to close out my tab because I wasn’t getting help waiter/manager ALYSSA got upset. She proceeded to talk under her breath and I asked her what was said she told me I was slow and ask if I could even afford to pay my bill. After walking out with my reciept she mentioned slapping me. I told her to come outside she came from around the bar like she was going to and then went back behind the bar. I told her come and slap me she proceeds to throw a pitcher at me luckily she missed because it wouldn’t have ended well for her. Spoke with manager this morning and she stated that I didn’t recieve help for 15 mins and that her staff shouldn’t have threw a pitcher at me. I would give it a -100/10 if I could. Will no longer tell people about this location or others have a great day Alyssa.

The food was amazing. I got the special with was so good I felt guilty about eating it all. The drinks... hit the spot without putting a hole in my pocket, so that was a plus. We sat upstairs, and our service was still very timely.
