Thai food located in a Holiday Inn hotel. Pretty spacious restaurant, service is pretty fast and friendly as well. We sat by the window and the view was pretty good, overlooking the school of nursing for KU. Now the food. We ordered 2 dishes, pork belly from the specials and an eggplant with tofu. They are obviously cooked in a very similar way (as can be seen from the pictures) so they taste alike as well. Nice flav... View all feedback.
What Rex doesn't like about Bangkok Kitchen:
Charged me 3.31 for a small iced coke. Asked if there was a subway nearby, he said no. There’s literally a subway right next-door. Nobody wants to be lied to and then ripped off in the same interaction. View all feedback.
I've always loved this place. It has recently moved but it is still delicious.
Good Thai cuisine, attentive waitress and moderate prices

Pad Thai with shrimp was superb. Plenty of large juicy shrimp, in a slightly sweet savory sauce. Thai iced coffee is exactly what I needed with lunch.
The dishes and drinks are on the pricier side, my Thai ice tea was $6 and the glass was just regular size. We shared the Laos style papaya salad and the Lhad Nha and both were delicious! Not sure how the rest of the dishes are but the Lhad Nha was big enough for two people so maybe that's why prices are higher.
