We've had several dinners at The Wayside and we can't recommend it highly enough. Sara, the proprietor, keeps a close watch on the dining experience. She also mixes a mean martini. The menu is creative, healthy, and absolutely delicious. We've had amazing short ribs, a divine chicken thigh-wrapped-in-bacon dish, a delicious Bolognese and fresh and surprising salads. This restaurant needs updating (broken window, rusty and broken radiator, chipped paint, etc. and cleaning (dirty drink ware, streaky windows, etc. . We ordered chicken parmesan, and it was disgusting the “sauce” on the pasta had the consistency of water (we could splash it on the table just by hitting it with a fork , the sauce on top of the chicken was thick tomato paste.
