my sister and I went to eat here while waiting for our cars at pepboys, and have given a great excellent review to this restaurant. their empanadas, arepas, papa rellena and salchipapa were fantastic! and the sauces were amazingly tied to everything we had. we even bought a glass of green sauce to bring home, it was so good. we had to bring food home because we couldn't finish it. this restaurant is worth the waiting... What User doesn't like about Little Cali:
I had the worst experience ever at this restaurant. They charged me $15 for a plate of fries that came with a single sausage cut into pieces and four cold tostones. This will definitely be my last visit, and I know many others feel the same. I even found some pieces of meat that I tried to give to my chihuahua, but he ended up hungry too. Thanks for nothing! This isn't authentic Colombian food. The empanada was undercooked, and the arepa was made with flour instead of masa. In my to-go order, the pork was raw. The cashier struggled to communicate in both Spanish and English and had difficulty operating the register. One woman behind the counter just glared at us with an unfriendly expression the entire time we were there. I had to ask for sauce multiple times, and they provided so little each time. After spending over $80 including tip, we expected much better quality food. We waited more than an hour for one arepa, one empanada, and a poorly cut breaded pork steak that was unfortunately coated in Italian breadcrumbs. We've dined at numerous Colombian restaurants in Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Colombia. The food served at Little Cali does not compare to true Colombian cuisine. You’ll find much better options at most local Spanish restaurants.
The dining experience was fantastic, and the customer service was excellent! I will definitely return and highly recommend it to others!
