Deep gold beef w... read more Really disappointed by this Umami location. I ordered 2 dishes that I had before at F-Hain location and for both the quality was so much worse. Deep gold beef was eatable but the beef strips were so small and it was drenched in sauce making it way less fresh than the one I had a few weeks ago. Golden Poularde was the worst thing I have eaten in any asian restaurant in Berlin up to this point. How can a dish have so much MSG and be so flavorful less is actually astonishing. Dry sraps of duck and overcooked vegetables in a sauce that was way to sweet and basically tasted like a sweetened carrot (probably it was heated up so many times that the carrot and potato took over what used to be a curry sauce). Definitely don’t recommend this location, waste of an evening and money.
