A wonderful spot in the first spring sunshine
It's still a nice place with friendly service, but the pho has unfortunately gone downhill. I thought it was a fluke last time, but the taste was more like instant food. A shame.

I went here on the recommendation of friends who live here, and I absolutely loved it. I had the 'Monks Lunch '—it was like vegan fish! It was a very unique and nice experience for me.

Umami, a cool Vietnamese restaurant with a nice menu in a cool part of the city. Two starters, two mains, two drinks, circa €25 per head.

A great place to eat inside or outside. They have a big variety of dishes (including vegetarian). They refreshments were great. The staff were taking the order very quickly and you can pay with card or cash. All menus in German and English. Umami is still one of the best Asian fusion restaurants in Berlin, with several locations across the city. The menu offers a wide variety of soups, salads and other flavorful dishes, along with an extensive vegetarian section. Their sweet Vietnamese coffee is quite good, and the homemade juices and lemonades are also worth trying. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Really great experience! The food was delicious and came out super fast, which was perfect. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the variety on the menu was impressive — almost too impressive! The only downside was that the menu had so much text it felt a bit overwhelming to read through. But once we decided, everything we ordered was fantastic. Definitely a place I’d go back to! Umami has every dish twice: vegan and conventional, which obviously leads to so many vegan options. The location is wonderful and the service was very fast. Unfortunately, the vegetables to my bowl were still a bit too 'hard' for my taste, but maybe this was just the case once... I was back. But I recommend going there because the food is delicious, although :
The food is very delicious. I had the vegan fish and it was quite amazing! The staff was friendly and we got our food very fast, even if we were a group of 15. It was very crowded and loud, and the portions were not very large. I think it could include more vegan options, many dishes contain meat or milk. I don't know better places in Berlin and Qould back there.
This place is very popular and crowded, but like the vegan options, for me there are much better opportunities in the city. I had a vegan starter that was ok, a Bao bunge as side (so/so), and a plate inspired with fishy flavors, but then it turned out that it mostly rice with unseasoned, bland veggies. The place is cheap so I can't get him back, but it wouldn't be my first place to go in the area.

In most cases, a selection is rather dissuasive. So far everything I tried was delicious! A super Vietnamese, highly recommended. Despite the size of the place, a lot is going on, you should book yourself. That's vague. The only criticism: the operation is already very concerned that you get your food quickly and that the table is released again quickly;
