We ordered two FlammKüchen one vegetarian, the other onion and bacon. Both. were excellent with just enough topping, and a thin, crispy biscuit-like base. As there were...only a few diners at lunchtime, service was very good. Other recent visits have orders for eggs, rissoles and FlammKuchen. All were of reasonable quality without being exceptional. Quantity was also very good. There is a cabinet of cakes which, although they look inviting, the taste is very commercial.

Bread baske... read more I went with a friend for breakfast and we ordered two of their complete breakfasts plus drinks, which was way too much food though it was very good. Bread basket, smoked salmon, eggs with bacon, sweet yogurt with sliced nuts, fruit and I think...some other goodies. I would order something less the next time around, but not because the quality was bad. This is a great place to go on a nice day.

T... read more I went because I was hoping for authentic Russian food, and ordered borsch and boeuf Stroganoff. Both were ok-ish, but did not taste as they should have done. The sauce to the Stroganoff was made without sour cream; I could not tell you exactly what...the borsch was missing, it was a perfectly okay beetroot soup, but it just was not borsch. I think they may be trying to cater to German palates rather than serving proper Russian food.

Discount store quality on the breakfast table: bland (frozen? rolls, cold cuts that looked like they came straight from the packaging of mass-produced goods...... read more Discount store quality on the breakfast table: bland (frozen? rolls, cold cuts that looked like they came straight from the packaging of mass-produced goods... I had hoped for more when I looked at the breakfast menu. At least there was fresh scrambled egg, the freshly squeezed orange juice was tasty, and the service was super friendly. But all of that doesn't disguise the fact that standard, mass-produced items and therefore boring breakfast sides were served. With a little effort, they could have done so much more...
