We reserved a table for 2 because of the unique location of the restaurant (floating on the water). To get there, you have to cross the Spree River through the Spree Tunnel (cool! and run around 300 meters. We ordered fish that were smoked... on site they were delicious, but the portions were a little small. Fortunately, we ordered 2 big beers and so we were satisfied. To sum it up, it is completely fine to reserve and only a beer overlooking the Spree and its beautiful banks.
We had a family dinner today and it was very disappointing to say the Leas. The staff was rude from the beginning and did not worry about the service at all. My lunch was unhealthy and cold and they said it was like that! Well... I'm sorry I had eaten all over the world and my dish didn't come like that. I'm sorry or can I get you something else without just going away from the shoulder and from her. Others were disappointed at their meals. For such a great setting this place could really be something But it needs a cleaning and a better cook and menu and nice friendly staff. So we're not coming back.
We enjoyed eating in this restorer in the middle of the lake. The service was good and food was not bad. Hoever, when we went to the park, we found no clear sign and couldn't catch a parking lot. It was a wonderful experience and...we recommend it.
Regular tourists to Berlin do not find this cool floating restaurant. You have to come to Freidrichshagen, then go under the Spre Tunnel and another 100 yards where the Raft picks you up. The reward sits on a balcony overlooking a large meal and cold beer. Several times I enjoyed Boulette, a kind of crusty meat lamb, with potato salad. Nice and enough for two, 10 euros. Sitting is a bit cramped, but overall, a unique experience.
I didn't expect much when I went there today for the first time, and was positively surprised. After a longish walk through the forest a little ferry picks you up on shore and sets you over to the restaurant which is a floating house. Go...for the sun set which is breath taking from there. Romantic setting all inclusive. We had smoked fish which was absolutely marvelous and the pork fillet, also very good. All in all it was a lovely evening mid week and we'll go again during this summer.
